Sales Training Manager LATAM

Job Description

Our client is looking for a Sales training Manager. The individual will focus on designing and implementing training programs for the different sales, medical and marketing teams. The professional main responsibilities will be:

  • Identify training and development needs in conjunction with the Sales and Marketing Managers, Medical and Service Managers at the affiliate level, conducting interviews and / or analyzing performance reports, product marketing plans, new business directions, etc.
  •  Create training and development solutions, conducting briefings with the business areas involved, identifying new demands at the affiliate and regional level and structuring plans, schedules and training infrastructure;
  • Support the coordination of training and development programs and activities, highlighting potential speakers (internal or external) according to the themes, structuring all necessary logistics, through articulation with internal or external partners, seeking the best learning conditions;
  • Monitor the impact of training and development actions, continuously analyzing the outcome of evaluations, satisfaction surveys, with the affiliates, to intervene in the continuous improvement of the processes;
  • Adapt learning strategies to the available financial resources, continuously monitoring investments, in order to ensure compliance with established financial targets;
  • Develop innovative training strategies for programs involving different approaches and formats appropriate to each public involved;
  • Develop and / or update the training manuals and other materials, working together with the multidisciplinary areas in the search for contents and better approaches to ensure their adequacy to the reality of the business;
  • Define and controls budget and resources availability for training.

Education and experience required

  • Bachelor´s degree or equivalent, preferably in business management or human resources. MBA and/or post-graduation are a plus;
  • At least five years of experience in Sales, Medical or Marketing positions;
  • Track record in designing and executing successful training programs;
  • Fluent English and Spanish. Portuguese desired;
  • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively;
  • Strong writing and record keeping ability for reports and training manuals;
  • Good computer and database skills;
  • Presentation skills;
  • Must be willing to occasionally travel regionally and internationally (aprox 30-40%);
  • Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (mentoring, coaching, on-the-job or in classroom training, e-learning, workshops, simulations, etc)
